February!!!

So each month, I’ll be talking about what happens in that month to update you.

So, my mom started doing a 3D printing class. And made something for her desk at school.

And while everybody is on the TV watching the super bowl, I’m just chilling in my room. Skipping it online.

I also got my braces, it took so long and my teeth hurt pretty bad because i bit down too hard. Then the next day they were really sore and I was getting a pill grinder down, and it fell on my braces. It hurt SOOO bad.

Then we went to Estes park and we got our nails done with acrylics. Then we went to our hotel and went to a restaurant. It was pretty good, and I got a giant burrito. I also tried Fried ice cream for the first time. We watched the saddest movie to ever be created. Five Feet Apart. Which is kinda funny since now its corona time. We also went to the historical site: The Stanley Hotel. There was obviously more stuff that we did there but I don’t completely remember it all. Like you try to remember something that happened a month ago. It’s very hard, especially if you don’t have a very good memory.

While we were out, Aries was overnight at doggy daycare. She was super excited when we came and picked her up from doggy daycare.

12th Birthday!!!

Hello everyone! I am so sorry I haven’t posted in a while. To quickly recap Christmas, it was literally the BEST CHRISTMAS EVER!!! I even got everything I asked for! I am very grateful. Usually how I decide what I want for my birthday list is the stuff from Christmas I didn’t get. However, this year was a different story.

Since I got everything I asked for, it was really hard to figure out what I wanted. So, (from my mom) I asked for a $50 shopping spree. There I got a popsocket, a Santa Cruz T-Shirt, (which cost $32) a massage, and then a glow-in-the-dark phone case for my new phone I got for Christmas! Then my Aunt got me a rose gold karaoke microphone! You just have to play a karaoke song on youtube and turn the mic on!! The first month or two I was super addicted to it. Then from my sister, I got led lights and I was super excited. From my brother I got a 12 pack of soda and “Spiderman: Far from Home” and from my cousins I got girly stuff and a poloroid!!!

We couldn’t go to Red Robin, so my mom made up a replica of Red Robin called”Red Mama.” It was amazing! It was exactly like Red Robin!

I am so lucky that I have a family who would do anything for me.

Blessings:

  • I am very lucky to have a family that are so loving towards me. I’m extremely lucky to have this great of a family
  • I know from this experience and lots of other different experiences that even when circumstances are very difficult, I can always count on my family.

Brief Update: I also will be posting once a month now!! Bye!

My first cooking lesson

Today I will be telling you about some desserts that we made on Saturday. First, let me show you the cherry cordials that we made.

First we had cherry juice from the cherries that my mom soaked. The cherries were also soaked. We had to cook in a. Pot the cherry juice. Then we had to use the candy thermometer. We created this stuff that we wrapped the cherry in. This is what they looked like once it became wrapped.

Then I had to dip these wrapped cherries in the chocolate that we kept on turning into more chocolate from chocolate chips. Now we have to keep them in the fridge for two weeks.

Before that though, we created chocolates. My mom put caramel on a pan then dipped it in melted chocolate with a fork. After she dipped it, she grinded salt all over the chocolates. Then put it in the fridge overnight, the next morning they were hard, salty, and delicious. I wan’t there for that though.

I also wasn’t here for the homemade snickers. My mom made them, I don’t know how they were made but I do know that it’s like snickers but 100 times more delicious.

That’s it for today folks! Stay tuned to my blog to see what’s going on and what else helpbyharmie can help you with your Christmas cooking! Goodbyyye!

Harmie’s Intro

Hello this is Harmonie speaking here. Once a week I will post about what’s going on.

Every month, except for seasonal months, I will be talking about tips and how to get through different kinds of stuff. But I will also talk about much more than that. I will talk about very interesting and appealing things.

But if there is a month, (like December) where there is a holiday in that month we will talk about baking treats every week or a character trait that goes with that holiday. Like for February we will be talking about love and different things.

All of this Christmas season I will be posting about some delicious desserts I will be making for Christmas. Here are five desserts that I will be baking. Lemon Squares, homemade Cinnamon Rolls, Buche De Noel, Almond Toffee, and Spritz cookies.

So for today’s post…..Tips for visiting California…

But I just wanted to tell you the next time you go to Cali you should go to LA, and Universal. Fun Fact: Universal is the entertainment capital of Los Angeles. But if you do actually go to Universal, you will hear that phrase a lot. You should go to the ocean at least once. One last tip, you should go to a restaurant in California. It night end up being a little pricey, but the food there is really good.

Please follow my blog and stay tuned for my new post each week. This season is gonna be fun filled with baking.

Goodbye, and Merry Christmas!
